- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Yikes. Our carrier frequently delivers mail to the wrong street within our neighborhood (the carrier may have the correct address, but confused which street / box to deliver to. Thankfully, the neighbors tend to walk over the often mis-delivered mail to each other, however, this remains disconcerting Today, we have a completely different problem regarding the delivery of 2 packages. I received confirmation on-line that 1 package was delivered to the front porch and 1 package to the mailbox with a date and timestamp that matches the time when my husband and I were outside (with no mail delivery). - ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆I can understand there's some frustration with the lines at our local Post Office, but I want to give kudos to the USPS in general. I use them for shipping all the time and they are competitive on pricing compared to FedEx and UPS, and they have great online tracking. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I was sitting on my couch not even 15 minutes ago, when I heard a loud thunk outside my window. I looked out, only to find the delivery man walking away from my front gate, with my package, on my side of the gate, crumpled, on the ground. He literally TOSSED it over the gate! Needless to say, I wasn't surprised when I found my package to have a huge tear in it. I get it if you're having a bad day, man, but really? It's not okay to half-a** your job. You think a barista is going to toss you your drink if saves them time? You think a nurse is gonna toss a needle at your arm, like its a game of darts, because it will save them time? No, and no. You shouldn't toss your customer's products either, even if it saves you time. This was in the Meadowview neighborhood if any USPS supervisors reads this.By Elizabeth Mecklenburg, April 18, 2017
